Robot Replicas Starscream v2

This is my second version of Robot Replicas Starscream.
This time around I had a few more reference pics to work with, so I was able to give him even more accurate tattoos than the first time.
I cut away some plastic from his fingers and gun on his right hand and the missiles on his left hand, and I added some silicone wires on his arms, for more realism.

After customizing five or so other Robot Replicas figures, I have to say this is the most accurate and detailed I've worked on. A+

Robot Replicas Bumblebee

This is the most accurate movie Bumblebee this far. He doesn´t transform, granted... but instead of a car mode, you get tons of detail, super articulation and great accuracy!

In addition to the cool look, Bumblebee has several changes:

* Retooled neck for a wider range of movement (the original one could only look side to side, now he can move downwards and tilt his head side to side for cool poses)
* The blue painted plastic windows were replaced by transluscent plastic (for a glass looking effect)
* Elbows were retooled to allow a 90° position, which was imposible before.
* I added a custom bumper.
* Some parts of his chest were resculpted, for more accuracy.

And that´s it!
Oh, and he´s entirely repainted with the best enamels available! The yellow I used is a custom hue I made for my most recent Bumblebee customs. Every little detail was painted using TONS of pictures as reference (from stills from the movies, CGI promo pics and those 360° turnarounds available on the DVD and Blu-Ray).

This little piece of art has so many details that you'll need hours to discover them all (not as many hours as I spent painting them, though ;) )

Finally, I applied several coats of gloss lacquer, to ensure the paint job lasts for many years.

Forest Battle Diorama

Robot Replicas Optimus Prime and Megatron on a custom plastic base. Both figures feature retooled and custom made parts. Here's the break down:

MEGATRON
I used the Robot Replicas version for this custom, since it's the most movie accurate this far. Unlike the very disappointing Leader one and the so so Voyager... he looks so cool, you can totally forget he's not transformable! (I guess that's the price for a more accurate look)

His face needed some resculpting, since out of the box he looks kind of chubby. His left hand and feet were retooled as well, to give him finger-claws on his hand, and threads-toes on his feet. The hole on his right shoulder was filled.

He has some cybertronian "tatoos" here and there.

Megatron was airbrushed and then handpainted with several hues of silver and chrome, with brass, copper and gold details all over his body. On top of all that, he was wethered to give that 'I just got out of the sea after 2 years' look.

OPTIMUS PRIME
You guessed it! Optimus is the ROTF Robot Replicas version. It's amazing how much he improved over the stock version. First of all, Optimus now has his "normal" face, with lips and all, instead of the battle mouth plate he loses at the beginning of the forest battle, and some battle scars where sculpted on his forehead and right shoulder. I retooled some parts of his torso and chest and his sword hand (now sharper). Finally, I made a completely new hand in a relaxed position, which is interchangeable with the sword hand.

As for the paint job, he is completely repainted, including flames, battle damage, metallic blue and red, etc, etc, etc. I replicated every single detail from the movie Prime on this little version, which is more accurate and just as detailed as the Leader one.

On top of all that work, there are several layers of gloss lacquer, for that extra shine look and for protective reasons.

FOREST DIORAMA
Last, but not least, we got our little base.. I used a rocky plastic diorama with grass and pine trees for the background and a custom made flaming tree for the foreground, giving the diorama a great perspective when looked from the front. I airbrushed the grass to give it more shaded of green, making it look more real, the same was done to the rocks, for some shading and some moss here and there.
